As I am sure you have been told, school is closed today because of the typhoon. Stay dry!
Here are some home learning tasks for you to do today.
Please remember that if you have any trouble with any of the tasks do not worry too much, you can leave it and we can talk about it at school tomorrow.
I added a video on our Google Classroom
Take a look at the video. This is the first of three about an island where humans changed the ecosystem and then had to fix it.
Try to think about these questions. Answer them in the comments on the Google classroom page.
1. How did humans affect this ecosystem?
2. What was the problem with the rabbits?
3. What did humans try to do to fix it?
4. Why should humans fix it?
I have also set several tasks for you to complete on Mathletics. Do at least three of them with 80%. If you finish all and would like more then you can play live Mathletics or some of the games that are available.
You can read your book for 30 minutes.
You can spend as much time as you like on DIY. Try to work on a project from one of the skills related to our Sharing the Planet unit if you haven’t done one yet! There’s also a few new skills on pages 7 and 8 for our next unit if you want to get started!
Most importantly please stay safe today. If you have any questions about any of the activities you can email me between 8:30am and 3:00pm. I will respond to you as quickly as I can.
